Passionate about solving problems and building elegant software that "just works". I’m an experienced software professional and entrepreneur skilled in all stages of the product life cycle. I have a proven ability to tackle a business problem, conceptualize the product, define requirements and take them through all stages of software development – analysis, technology selection, architecture, detailed design, UI design, implementation, testing and release. Experienced in building software teams, hiring, training, project management and people management. My career spanned founding startups as well as working for a large company. I am currently a VP of software architect at eGain Corporation and am responsible for design and review of new projects, establishing a platform for best-practice software development, selection of programming languages and corresponding frameworks and libraries and establishing patterns for creating testable and readable code, “Golden Path” repositories for education and quick start. In my current role I enabled developers to reduce the time it takes to develop new features while producing higher quality code and more test coverage - 100% APIs coverage and over 70% code coverage. Previously at eGain I developed CoBrowse technology – a technology that enables one or more remote users to view and interact with a webpage, used for support agents to help users navigate websites and fill forms together, point at element and sketch over them. It was first of its kind, implemented as 100% browser native using only JavaScript and HTML, with sub-second latency and resiliency for network slowness or disconnects, architected and implemented from scratch. This software supports a rule engine for what agents can see and do, and all interactions are logged and audited. Whether it is working on a hobby project such as https://girltelligence.com, built to help young people support each other in a safe environment, or creating a product company from scratch. I enjoy developing technologies, diving into programming languages, algorithms and frameworks, and learned to appreciate test-everything-locally and the power of a team.
