About Wesley J. Oliphant, P.E., DFE, F.SEI, F.ASCE

Wesley J. Oliphant, P.E., DFE, F.SEI, F.ASCE is Principal, Chief Technical Officer at Exo. Location: Magnolia, Texas, United States.

I am proud of my role to help shape the reliability and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure. From technical innovation and quality of poles and towers that support our electrical grid, telecommunications infrastructure, or lighting systems that provide security and enjoyment of nighttime activities, I have been an active and vocal industry participant. For decades, I’ve turned complex structural engineering challenges into solutions that extend the life, safety, and performance of this critical infrastructure for clients across the U.S. Recognized by peers as an authority in the type work I do, I’ve played a key role in creating and updating the technical and engineering Standards that guide these industries. My background includes a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, military service as a Civil Engineering Officer in the U.S. Air Force, and an MBA from the University of Houston that sharpened my business acumen. As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve co-founded and/or led multiple successful ventures — including my current role as Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer of Exo — blending technical innovation, thought leadership, and strategic growth that has delivered lasting impact to Clients and the Industries served.
