About Umesh Sripad

Umesh Sripad is Chief Technology Officer at LifeMD. Location: Atlanta Metropolitan Area, United States.

I am a Public and private equity operator/executive - successfully led businesses through enterprise-scale transformations, value creation, and growth inflection points. Across media, retail, AI/SaaS, and digital commerce - I've served as a C-level executive, founder, and M&A operator owning strategy, P&L, technology, and execution in complex, high-change environments. My work consistently aligns customer value with operating leverage, governance rigor, and modern technology frameworks. As an executive operator across public companies and private equity–backed businesses, including PetMeds (NASDAQ: PETS), Overstock, Bed Bath & Beyond, The Weather Company, and CNN - I've led multi-billion dollar enterprises and global teams through board-level transformations. My approach centers on building operating IP - scalable business playbooks, decision frameworks, and standardized cores, while intentionally developing human IP so transformation becomes an enduring enterprise capability. My M&A experience spans the full lifecycle - from diligence and investment thesis development through integration and value realization - including the $2.2B sale of The Weather Company to IBM, IKEA’s acquisitions of TaskRabbit, Traemand, and GeoMagical Labs, minority investments in Houzz and Optoro, and the acquisition and successful exit of PureRED to ITG. I have partnered closely with boards, sponsors, and executive teams to ensure disciplined execution, risk management, and sustained enterprise value creation. I bring a boardroom ready perspective shaped by public company governance, private equity operating rigor, and hands-on leadership across growth, turnaround, and transformation contexts. My leadership approach emphasizes clarity of accountability, clean operating models, capital efficient growth, and resilient technology foundations that scale with the business. I have operated across the U.S, New Zealand, and global markets, and I am a frequent keynote speaker at NRF, SAP Sapphire, Dreamforce, CommerceNext, eTail, and Groceryshop, contributing perspectives on enterprise transformations, human-centered technology, and scalable value creation. Growth architect by instinct. Operator by discipline. Executive by design.
