I lead global Engineering, Support, and Operations at Precisely, the leader in data integrity — a 1,000-person organization building and operating the software and SaaS platforms that 12,000+ enterprise customers rely on to make their data accurate, consistent, and ready for AI. Over 20+ years at Precisely, Qlik, RMS, BMC, IBM, and Cognos, I've led organizations through the transitions that define modern software companies: on-prem to cloud, license to SaaS, and now traditional development to AI-augmented engineering. That last shift is where I spend much of my energy today — as a practitioner, not just a sponsor. I work hands-on with LLMs and agentic systems: doing my own data analysis with AI tools, building with agents directly, and contributing to architecture and product decisions rather than just reviewing them. I make decisions based on data I've worked with myself, and I believe the leaders who will get the AI transition right are the ones using these tools every day. I hold myself to that standard. A few things I bring: Scale: Grew the engineering organization from 300 to 1,000 people while managing a $100M budget and delivering 150+ products to market across cloud and on-prem Transformation: Led engineering through cloud and SaaS transitions at Precisely and Qlik, and now through the shift to AI-augmented development Judgment: I dive deep before proposing solutions — into the problem, the architecture, and the experience of the teams who've lived with it. I'd rather understand why something is hard than declare how to fix it. Outside of work, I'm a motocross dad: I build the practice tracks my son trains on, travel to his races, and handle bike setup. It turns out dialing in suspension and dialing in engineering organizations require the same skill — listening carefully to feedback and making one deliberate adjustment at a time.
