About Tony Tran
Tony Tran is Chief Technology Officer at ServiceWave. Location: Braselton, Georgia, United States.
Two decades in tech leadership, most of it now aimed at one problem: helping defense contractors get through CMMC without it wrecking their budget or their operations. I'm the founder of TRANUSA, a cybersecurity-first MSSP built around CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171. Our clients are DoD-adjacent manufacturers and subcontractors staring down certification deadlines with no internal security team to get them there. That means GCC High, ITAR-aware infrastructure, U.S. Persons–only staffing, and the unglamorous work of mapping compliance controls to what a company is actually doing day to day. We've grown from just me to a team with people on the ground across the Atlanta metro, Phoenix, and Chicago — so when a client needs someone nearby, we usually already are. I'm also CTO of ServiceWave, a business advisory firm that rebuilt how M&A due diligence gets done — quality of earnings, EBITDA adjustments, full reports and decks, reps and warranties, audit support, the whole investment-ready package. There's always a human advisor standing behind the conclusions; the technology I built is what makes the math work underneath. The thread through all of it: I take something dense and hard — a compliance framework, a diligence report, a control matrix — and turn it into something fast and usable for the person who actually has to act on it. Compliance shouldn't cost a company its momentum, and rigor shouldn't take the weeks it usually does. Whether it's a control objective or a line of code, that's the work I care about.
