About Tom Gandre, EVP Chief Operating Officer Tom Gandre has served as PSCU’s chief operating officer since 2008. In this role, he leads the strategic direction of PSCU’s operations, including oversight of the company’s Information Technology, Product Management, Innovation, Fraud, Collections and Contact Center functions. Tom's has also previously managed Service Delivery, Implementations and the Legal teams. Under Tom's leadership PSCU has transformed their operating model, moving from a value added reseller to a developer. Over the past 4 years the company has increased revenue by 67%. With over 25 years in the payments industry, Gandre has built a solid reputation for results-driven leadership and a commitment to integrity and talent development. He has a keen ability to recognize market trends and opportunities in service delivery and technology, creating a shared vision that delivers success for both PSCU and the CUSO’s Owners. Prior to joining PSCU, Gandre served as senior vice president of Product Management at First Data Corporation for six years. He also spent 14 years as a member of the Core Management team at the STAR Network, joining shortly after the company was formed. STAR later became the largest PIN Debit Network in the US and was sold to Concord EFS for 1.3 billion. PSCU is the nation's largest credit union service organization (CUSO) and serves more than 1,900 financial institutions nationwide. As a non-profit cooperative, the company is owned by more than 900 member credit unions representing 40 million credit, debit, prepaid and online bill payment accounts. Its Contact Centers handle more than 28 million inquiries a year from consumers. Gandre holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
