About Thomas Albers Frost
Thomas Albers Frost is Chief Technology Officer at Aspire. Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States.
I fixed jet engines on Harrier jump jets for the Marine Corps. Then I spent 25 years building software companies, most of which got acquired. MySpace when it was the #1 website on earth. SendGrid before Twilio bought it. Docstoc before Intuit bought it. A healthcare fraud platform that sold for $26M. A recruiting company I bootstrapped and made profitable in 90 days. Seven acquisitions total. 200+ engineers hired. A handful of people I mentored who went on to run their own companies as CEOs, CTOs, and VPs. Right now I'm CTO at Aspire.io and I'm obsessed with one thing: agentic development and agentic products. We have AI agents that plan, write, test, review, and ship code. Not copilot suggestions - actual agents doing actual work. We also bake agentic workflows into the product so brands can run creator partnerships without babysitting every step. Cut engineering costs 50%, tripled productivity, saved $1.5M/year. Done. Most companies are duct-taping AI onto old workflows and calling it innovation. I'm more interested in what happens when you design the whole thing - the product, the team, the process - assuming agents are in the room from day one. That's a different company. That's what I am focused on building. Oh, and my wife and I built a 2,800 sqft modern farmhouse near Mt. Shasta. Actual hammer-and-nails built it. Best thing I've ever done outside of software and kids. People + Process + Tech = Product. That's the equation. Always has been. Keep Pushing.
