About Tendü Yogurtçu, PhD
Tendü Yogurtçu, PhD is CTO | Enterprise AI & Technology Strategist | Transformation, Growth, and M&A Advisor at Tendu Innovations. Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States.
I operate at the forefront of major enterprise technology shifts, moving Big Data, cloud, AI, and agentic systems from early signal to governed enterprise capability. Across multiple cycles, I have turned emerging technology into products, platforms, and operating models that drive customer value, business growth, and enterprise trust. Most recently, I drove agentic AI strategy for products by partnering with an AI-native company and AWS, sponsoring multi-agent prototypes, validating use cases with enterprise customers, and guiding the transition toward scalable product capabilities. I also established Precisely Innovation Labs to incubate generative and agentic AI and co-chaired the AI Council to govern adoption with attention to IP protection, risk, and trust. At Precisely and Syncsort, I helped scale the business from $75M to $900M in revenue, led the integration of 20+ acquisitions, and grew the technology organization from 80 to 500+ people across the US, India, and EMEA. Transformation at this scale requires evolving architecture, operating models, talent, governance, and culture while the business continues to grow and deliver. I balance long-term transformation with near-term execution, modernizing platforms without starving the product roadmap or slowing customer value. Board and investor conversations have been a recurring part of my work, especially where technology strategy, AI, platform decisions, enterprise risk, and value creation intersect. Throughout my career, I have partnered with CEOs on build, buy, and partner decisions. Earlier, as General Manager of the Big Data business unit, I carried full P&L responsibility while leading M&A diligence and integration. Beyond operating roles, I serve across academic, venture, and enterprise ecosystems through Fordham University’s AI in Business Hub, Firstboard.io, Drexel University, Stevens Institute of Technology, Forbes Technology Council, and the TUSIAD New York AI Chapter. My perspectives have been published in Forbes Technology Council and Firstboard.io Board Insights, and I have been recognized by WomenTech Network and the Women in IT Awards for technology leadership. My leadership is grounded in empathy, transparency, and building cultures where innovation can thrive. The work that energizes me most sits where technology strategy, enterprise transformation, and operational execution move together, especially when new technologies need to become scalable, trusted, revenue-generating capabilities while organizations continue to innovate and grow.
