As Chief Technology Officer at Cole Engineering Services Inc., I lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies—AI/ML, AR/VR/XR, 5G, and edge computing—into training and simulation platforms that support the U.S. Department of Defense and allied missions. With over two decades of experience in defense modeling and simulation, including 15 years with the UK MOD and now over 10 in the U.S., I specialize in transforming innovation into operational advantage. I was proud to lead the team that won and is delivering the U.S. Army’s Synthetic Training Environment (STE) program—one of the most ambitious simulation modernization efforts to date. I oversee our internal R&D portfolio, sponsor our enterprise CMMI and ISO initiatives, and drive partnerships that bring emerging technology into real-world systems. My approach combines systems engineering rigor with agile development practices, enabling faster delivery, lower risk, and greater impact. I’m passionate about building high-performing technical teams and fostering a culture of purpose, ownership, and continuous improvement.
