Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Judicial Court Receivers, responsible for the firm's technology platform and operating model. The current work is a full rebuild of the firm's case management environment — a platform designed for availability, security, and the flexibility to add nominators, jurisdictions, and workflows without re-architecting. It is built to SOC 2 control standards, with role-based access, audit trails, and data governance established as design requirements rather than later additions. A companion nominator portal gives the firms that place files direct visibility into their own portfolios. Alongside the platform work, I partner with the leadership team on operational planning and process improvement as the organization scales. Background I spent the prior two decades building and operating technology companies. I founded and led a GPS fleet tracking SaaS business through sustained high growth — 55%+ CAGR at 15–20% EBITDA, an inbound engine producing 350+ SQLs per month at roughly a 35% close rate, and better than seven-year average customer life without long-term contracts. The company was named to the Inc. 500 and was acquired by Accel-KKR in 2020. I stayed through the transition to lead the integration and turnaround of a simultaneous acquisition during COVID, returning the combined business to profitable growth. That experience shaped how I work: instrument the business first, make decisions from data rather than instinct, and build teams that hold up when conditions change. Most of what I do now is applying that to a different problem — post-judgment recovery, where the technology has historically lagged well behind what the work requires. I am the author of 4-Star Reviews Suck: 25 Real-World Business Maxims for Survival and Growth, written from that period. A few of the maxims that shape how I work: Numbers run the business. Measure everything and respond accordingly. Automate anything that will happen frequently. Avoid making the same decision twice. It's always your fault.
