About Stephen D. Lowe

Stephen D. Lowe is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) acting CISO at Peak Support. Location: Atlanta Metropolitan Area, United States.

I help organizations align technology, AI, and cybersecurity with business strategy to accelerate growth, reduce risk, and create competitive advantage. Throughout my career, I've partnered with executive teams, boards, and investors to help businesses scale, modernize, and prepare for what's next. Most of my career has been spent helping high-growth organizations navigate periods of rapid change. That experience spans founder-led companies, private equity-backed enterprises, and global organizations where technology is expected to drive the business, not simply support it. Over the past two decades, my experience has ranged from co-founding a technology services company to leading global technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data organizations through rapid growth, acquisitions, integrations, and investor diligence. That combination of entrepreneurial and enterprise leadership has shaped how I approach technology, keeping the focus on business outcomes, customer value, and long-term growth. AI is changing how businesses operate, and I believe we're still in the early stages of what's possible. My focus has been helping organizations adopt AI in practical ways, from modern data platforms and AI governance to Generative AI, agentic AI, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled customer experiences. The goal isn't to deploy more AI. It's to help the business make better decisions, move faster, and deliver better outcomes. Managing technology risk has been a constant throughout my career, and cybersecurity is one of its most important dimensions. I've built security and governance programs that support global operations while meeting demanding regulatory and customer expectations. Security should help the business move faster with confidence, not become another obstacle. Working across founder-led companies, private equity-backed enterprises, and acquisition-driven organizations has shaped how I lead. I've supported acquisitions, executive due diligence, technology integrations, and post-transaction growth. Those experiences reinforced a simple belief: technology leadership isn't measured by the infrastructure you manage. It's measured by the business outcomes you help create. Outside of my day-to-day responsibilities, I enjoy speaking about technology leadership, AI, cybersecurity, enterprise transformation, and the evolving role of technology in business. I always enjoy connecting with leaders who believe technology should help businesses grow, make better decisions, and manage risk with confidence.
