I’ve lived creative disruption and innovation from both sides. I started as a filmmaker and later built a career in product innovation, learning to bridge the language of creators with the language of technology. I led Product Innovation Research at the Netflix Studio, helping architect the operating system for the world’s biggest movie studio and exploring how AI/emerging tech could expand, not replace, human creativity. I’m now building the future of hybrid filmmaking on some of Hollywood’s most exciting projects, leading R&D on incredible new production technology methods that keep human performance and artistry central to the filmmaking process. I’ve partnered with writers, directors, editors, VFX artists, marketers, technicians, and creatives of all kinds worldwide, working on everything from custom AI applications for TV shows and movies to reimagining the future of content creation. That dual perspective gives me a unique vantage point: I understand the craft, pressures, and joys of making, as well as how technology is reshaping creative systems, careers, and identities. My mission is to help both professional filmmakers and everyday creatives navigate and reimagine the frontiers of creative possibility in an AI world. I teach, advise, and coach leaders and artists operating at this intersection. I adjunct at UCLA and have guest lectured at Cornell, Johns Hopkins, MIT Sloan, Princeton, Yale SOM, and more on storytelling, technology x creativity, business communication, entrepreneurship, design, product development, and measuring impact. I also advise companies integrating new tech into legacy workflows without breaking the culture that makes them successful.
