I'm the Chief Technical Officer at Verdantas. In this role I am focused on our technical professionals. I am responsible for leading our Technical Practice Groups and ensuring we build a culture of consistency, quality, innovation and collaboration across the firm. I am passionate about fostering growth in others and using technology to increase efficiency, improve project outcomes and to improve the work-life of our professionals. Prior to taking on this role, I held positions of progressive leadership as a Scientist, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and President at JM Sorge Environmental. During this period the firm grew in size, capabilities and geographic reach while maintaining strong profitability. After consulting with many stakeholders, in 2022 I led a process to merge JM Sorge into Verdantas, a private equity-backed, sustainable environmental and engineering services company and have not looked back. I am a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). In addition to my leadership of the Practice communities across Verdantas, I consult on environmental assessment, investigation, remediation and compliance issues for private and public entities. When not consulting you may find me running, cycling, walking the dog, doing the dishes, cleaning the chicken coop or mowing the lawn :).
