I’m a hands-on software architect and fractional CTO with 30+ years of experience building and shipping production systems. I’ve led engineering orgs and founded companies—but I’ve never stopped writing code. Over the last 4+ years, I’ve focused heavily on AI strategy and delivery: designing and building AI-enabled systems that automate business workflows, improve decision-making, and unlock new product capabilities. I build platforms where architectural rigor, reliability, maintainability, and observability matter as much as innovation. Recent work includes architecting and delivering an end-to-end agentic AI system for a private equity firm to replace manual, keyword-based research with semantic, intent-aware discovery (embeddings + reasoning + human-in-the-loop guardrails). I’ve also built multiple AI-enabled SaaS products across workflow automation, CRM, healthcare operations, and content-driven systems. I’m strongest in roles where I can bridge business intent and technical execution: • Fractional CTO / technical leadership for early- and growth-stage teams • Solutions Architecture (pre-sales or delivery) for complex platforms and AI initiatives • Senior/Principal Engineering for teams that need deep architecture, quality, and velocity Core strengths: system architecture, AI integration and automation, DDD/TDD/BDD, cloud platforms, and building maintainable codebases with strong engineering practices.
