Helped to build the internet age at Intel from 1991 to 2006 working in circuit design, product engineering, and technical marketing. Managed the application of internet and emerging AI technologies at Carnegie Learning from 2007-2020 to improve education in middle schools and high schools across the country. It was a professional career filled with progressive growth of responsibility from individual contributor to managing teams, leading organizational development and product strategy, expanding product portfolio, driving technology transitions, increasing customer and market reach, and leading engineering organizations through successive mergers and acquisitions. Currently enjoying a simpler life with family, cooking, playing racquet sports, traveling, investing and volunteering. 2007 to 2020 at Carnegie Learning, Inc. in a variety of management positions including: VP of Product Development, VP of Engineering and culminating with Chief Technology Officer. Led and grew a highly talented and diverse team spanning PhDs in computer science and cognitive science, engineers and technicians to execute on expanding the product portfolio, planning and completing technology transitions, increasing customer and market reach, improving product efficacy, performance and cost, as well as leading through successive mergers and acquisitions. 1991 to 2006 at Intel Corporation in a variety of roles including: Microprocessor Development: Circuit Design, Product Engineering, Silicon Test and Debug; and Sales & Marketing: Technical Marketing Manager in OEM facing lab and design center, Product Management and Product Line Management and integration strategy on customer facing eBusiness systems in Sales and Marketing.
