I’ve spent 30 years building enterprise systems — from industrial control products to cloud architectures to, now, AI agents doing real work inside real codebases. As CTO of Walking Tree Technologies, I lead 100+ developers deploying agentic AI for enterprise clients: code modernization, systems integration, custom applications. Not pilots. Production. Most of what I see written about enterprise AI is either hype or hand-wringing. The reality is more interesting and more boring: the hard part isn’t the model, it’s the integration surface, the legacy data, and getting engineers to change how they work. I architect solutions that actually hold up in production versus what demos well. The through-line across three decades has been translation — taking complex business needs and turning them into systems that pay for themselves. That skill matters more now, not less. I lead our engineers in providing enterprise AI adoption, agentic development workflows, and modernizing legacy systems. Always up for a conversation.
