I've spent 20+ years building and leading technology organizations inside insurance and healthcare. These are industries I know from the inside, not from a distance. I understand how health plans operate, how claims move through an organization, where the data lives, and where technology can create real competitive advantage. My career has been defined by three CTO roles and one co-founding experience. At Colibrium, I built a SaaS platform from the ground up that served 15+ national and regional health plans through the full policy and member lifecycle. We scaled the engineering organization 4x, built a BPO division, and delivered a successful acquisition by HGS in 2015. That experience gave me a deep operating knowledge of the health insurance ecosystem that I've carried into every role since. As CTO at E.A. Renfroe, one of the largest independent P&C claims organizations in the country, I've led platform modernization, cloud-first infrastructure transformation, and the launch of ClaimSentinel: a proprietary applied AI system that reduced manual QA time by 70% and improved decision accuracy across high-volume, document-intensive claims workflows. Before that, I led technology transformation at Adaptigent, modernizing a mainframe integration platform for enterprise adoption and migrating all infrastructure to Azure. The common thread: I build technology organizations that deliver measurable outcomes in regulated, complex industries. I'm comfortable at the board level and in the architecture review. I've run the P&L, managed offshore delivery, and shipped production AI systems. I don't just modernize platforms. I change how organizations think about what technology can do for them.
