About I’m a systems thinker who loves research, and a data/AI leader focused on turning complex problems into practical, human-centered solutions. Endlessly curious (there is no cure for curiosity!), I often start my day with coffee and a research paper and end it prototyping a new idea, testing an assumption, or developing a better question to ponder. Working at the intersection of people, data, and emerging technology energizes me, even more so if the goal is to make something complicated more useful and actionable. My background blends Army leadership with business, data, analytics, and technology. That combination shapes how I approach change and ambiguity: understand the system, ask better questions, build high-trust teams, and execute under real-world constraints. I am especially interested in building data products, applying AI thoughtfully, and helping organizations move from ideas and information to better decisions (action!) and measurable outcomes. Outside of work, you’ll find me unplugged on a remote trail, at an off-road meetup, or with a notebook full of ideas and questions to explore. As a speaker, I've presented on emerging technology, data, systems thinking, leadership and human performance and am always interested in thoughtful conversations, panels, keynotes, and workshops that help people turn complexity into action.
