Over three decades of industry experience, starting at Lenovo in May 2005 from IBM after Lenovo acquired IBM's PC division. Effective January 1, 2019 Peter retired from a full time role at Lenovo. In Lenovo Peter lead many business groups, most notably the ThinkPad team for over a dozen years as well as roles leading all Lenovo's PC and Server teams. Peter's final roles in Lenovo were as the corporate CTO and then leading strategy and technology for the Data Center Group. He is widely known for extensive expertise in product and technology research & development, with a number of approved patents, including ones covering pen computing and wireless data systems. As well as leading several M&A projects and joint ventures.
