Peter Cavicchia is a transformational technology and security executive with over 25 years of experience leading enterprise modernization, cybersecurity, and operational strategy across the financial services sector. As Chief Technology Officer at Fiserv, he oversees enterprise infrastructure, cloud strategy, and global security operations supporting one of the world’s largest payments and banking technology environments. Peter has led complex modernization initiatives, cloud and data center transformations, AI-enabled operational improvements, and enterprise risk management programs that enhance efficiency, strengthen security, and support long-term growth. He has also managed company infrastructure, administration, and operations across global real estate, facilities management, and strategic sourcing, overseeing multi-billion-dollar budgets and spending strategies with external partners across technology and other industries. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at First Data, where he played a key role in the company’s turnaround, successful IPO, and acquisition by Fiserv, and at JPMorgan Chase, where he led technology risk, cyber intelligence, fraud analytics, and major integration efforts. Earlier in his career, he served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service and received the Medal of Valor for his actions on September 11, 2001.
