I’m the Chief Technology Officer at Thumbtack, where I lead engineering, platform, data science, and applied science. At Thumbtack, we’re building products that help people understand and care for their homes, while helping pros better understand their customers, grow their businesses, and focus more of their time on the work they do best. AI lets us solve some of those problems in exciting ways we simply couldn’t before. Before Thumbtack, I was EVP of Product Engineering at Xero, where I led a global engineering organization building software used by millions of small businesses. Before that, as CTO at Realtor.com, I led the modernization and AI-driven personalization of one of the largest real estate marketplaces in the U.S. Earlier in my career, I held senior engineering roles at Pandora, Apple Music, and Beats Music.
