Norbert is an experienced entrepreneur and holder of many patents. Prior to co-founding Lifespire, Norbert co-founded Breakaway Imaging, LLC (“Breakaway”) and served as VP of R&D responsible for the design and development of the O-Arm Imaging System (“O-Arm”). Breakaway was acquired by Medtronic, Inc. (“Medtronic”) in 2007 and the O-Arm continues to be a very successful product for Medtronic. Early in his career, Norbert served in various roles as mechanical and software engineer, program manager and functional manager. Norbert received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automation & Controls) from Tufts University.
