About Nigel Lin

Nigel Lin is Chief Technology Officer at Auto-Chlor System. Location: Fremont, California, United States.

Passionate, self-motivated, and responsible technology executive with over 25 years of experience in enterprise software development and more than 15 years leading Information Technology and Information Services organizations. I currently serve as CTO for a large-scale commercial service business supporting distributed field operations, manufacturing, and chemical systems. My focus is on aligning technology strategy with business execution—designing and delivering scalable, reliable platforms that support route accounting, mobile and offline applications, enterprise integrations, and high-availability infrastructure. A key recent achievement includes successfully migrating the company’s payroll platform from ADP—used for over 20 years—to UKG and fully integrating UKG with our in-house enterprise systems. This initiative significantly simplified payroll processing, improved data accuracy, and reduced manual effort across finance and operations. Multiple prior attempts by different controllers were unsuccessful; the project was completed through close cross-functional collaboration and disciplined system design. I bring a hands-on leadership style with a strong problem-solving mindset, able to operate at both the strategic and technical levels. I am continuously driven to learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve system quality, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. My core strengths include enterprise architecture, system integration, IT operations, network and security design, and leading teams through complex technical and organizational challenges.
