Nicholas Zinn is a Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer for Morgan Stanley's Operations Division, supporting broker dealer operations for the Wealth Management and Institutional Securities businesses. The Operations technology platform supports the entire post-trade processing lifecycle for the Firm's retail and institutional clients. Nick is focused on driving a cloud, automation, and Al first strategy for the Operations division and tech platform. Nick joined Morgan Stanley in 2001 in Prime Brokerage Technology where he developed many products across risk, margin, and performance measurement. In response to the 2008 financial crisis, he created the Bank Resource Management technology group bringing together the systems to fund the Firm and manage counterparty risk including stock loan, secured funding, treasury, and cash management systems. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Nick worked at seven different software startups in New York City. From 2016 to 2019, he worked for the alternative asset management firm, PAAMCO, in Irvine, California, as Head of Portfolio Analytics. Nick earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.
