I build intelligent real-world systems where reliability matters: embedded AI, real-time vision, and multimodal interfaces (voice + vision) in regulated environments. Over 25+ years, I’ve shipped foundational platforms across billions of devices (TI OMAP era), built FDA-grade touchless interaction for surgical robotics (voice + vision control that reduced procedure time 20–40%), and I’m now CTO at SB3D developing a next-generation, ultra-affordable 3D surgical visualization platform with near-zero-latency imaging pipelines on NVIDIA Jetson Orin. I’m hands-on and architectural: I prototype, optimize, and ship—then scale systems into manufacturable, supportable products. I work comfortably across hardware/software boundaries: ARM/DSP/GPU acceleration, Linux + RTOS, drivers, real-time pipelines, and AI inference (Codec Engine/CUDA).
