CTO & AI researcher creating a better world through distributed, intelligent systems. Currently I’m focused on transformer-based model architecture innovation, distributed data structures, graphical learning, and building amazing teams around these technologies. I’ve been writing code and using systems to solve interesting problems since I was 11 years old. From innovating few shot learning models to identify right whales to working with large language models like GPT-2 to curate the world’s most interesting online content, I’ve always wanted to use intelligent systems to solve complex problems. I’ve been a featured speaker on machine learning and AI at Singularity University, Abundance 360, and UCSC. A few years ago I put my Ph.D. in Machine Learning on hold to join Peter Diamandis and Eben Pagan to build Daily. Today, Daily is reinventing applied AI in industries such as Real Estate, Insurance, Biotech and Law.
