I’m the Chief Technology Officer at Rainwalk Pet Insurance, where we are building technology infrastructure that enables partners to offer pet insurance through modern embedded integrations. Rainwalk is a pet-insurance platform and API layer designed to make insurance easier for partners to offer and pet parents to understand and use. Our model combines partner-facing technology with a direct relationship with the pet parent—because embedded distribution should not make the customer experience impersonal. As CTO, I lead technology direction behind that platform: APIs, partner integrations, product engineering, data flows, and operational systems. The goal is not simply to connect systems, but to create reliable, clear experiences that help partners deliver value while helping pet parents access coverage, support, and care with less friction. I also use AI deliberately across developer workflows and product design—improving how teams build, test, and ship while exploring features that create practical value for partners and pet parents. I’m a product-minded technology leader working across strategy, engineering, and operations. I start with the real problem, test assumptions early, and build systems that last. I value clear interfaces, pragmatic architecture, and technical decisions that produce measurable customer value. Previously, I built and advised through JohnStone and Moondogs. I’m based in Austin and welcome conversations about APIs, embedded insurance, product engineering, and technology for complex, high-stakes industries that matter.
