As CTO at HiveMQ, I'm leading the evolution from MQTT broker to industrial AI platform, building the infrastructure that lets enterprises connect operational data, make it understandable, and turn it into safe, autonomous action. HiveMQ sits at the center of hundreds of real-world operational data architectures across manufacturing, energy, automotive, and logistics. That front-row seat to what works (and what doesn't) at production scale is what shapes every product and architecture decision we make. We're building three layers: reliable data streaming, operational intelligence, and industrial-grade agentic AI, each compounding the value of the others. Before HiveMQ, I spent a decade across infrastructure architecture, DevOps, and IoT, including time at Microsoft focused on energy and utility customers, and consulting work helping organizations modernize on cloud-native and event-driven architectures. That blend of hands-on systems design and technology strategy is what I bring to the CTO role: the ability to see the architecture and the business case at the same time, and to move between whiteboard and production. My approach: rapid experimentation, principled design, pragmatic execution. I work across product, engineering, and partners to align technical bets with measurable business outcomes. 2 patents pending. Frequent speaker at industry events. Bilingual (English/French).
