I’m a seasoned software visionary, an executive and a leader. I’m an expert at translating market needs into software solutions. As soon as the solutions are ready, I hit the road promoting the vision to the customers —able to speak fluent geek or business as needed by the audience. Creating and building software products is a partnership between the business development teams, marketing teams and engineering teams. I enjoy working with all to create the product vision and deliver it to the customer. I don’t care who gets credit for the products produced. I just want them to delight the customer and win the market. This mindset has lead to multiple new product categories that have translated into multi-million dollar businesses. When building solutions I keep a sharp eye on the bottom line, distributing the work to whoever can understand the business and execute the solution efficiently. With this eye on the bottom line, I was able to drive the engineering hourly rate down by 50% while increasing the feature delivery pace at my last three companies. This was accomplished by implementing variable staffing models and modern development and management techniques. I strive to use the best, so continuous education is a must for me and my team members. I am always looking to introducing new tools to the company’s software toolbox in order to create more efficient and scalable software products.
