Western States Fire has developed a wildland firefighting system that will be used with helicopters to drop a specialized foam for up to 8,300 feet of Fireline compared to the 300' to 600’ that’s currently dropped by helicopters. In July of 2022 we performed successful proof of concept tests of the system and proprietary foam concentrate that will be utilized in the system. Our technology will reduce the carbon emissions entering the environment by extinguishing fires more rapidly in a more efficient and cost effective manner. We are now seeking $2.5M SEED financing, in which individuals can invest. Our system can deploy foam for over 14 minutes compared to the typical three to eight second water or retardant drop. Our technology will be disruptive in how wildland fires are fought – for example it would take nine helicopters today dropping water or retardant to equal what our system can do in one day fighting a wildfire.
