Over the past 30+ years at Boeing, I’ve had the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams across advanced technology development, program delivery, and production improvement efforts. Before this role, I was Vice President and Chief Engineer of Global, Supply Chain and Systems Engineering, where I worked with colleagues to strengthen supply-chain connections, improve first-pass quality, and scale engineering solutions. I also served as Vice President and General Manager of the 787 Program and as Site Leader for Boeing South Carolina, overseeing in the design, production and delivery of the 787 Dreamliner and shaping the longer-term production system plans. Earlier roles included leading cross-functional teams in 787 preflight, paint and delivery, as well as spearheading production transformation initiatives for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. I served as director of the 787 Lean Global Production System and the BCA Lean Enterprise Office. I also led global research and development programs in materials and manufacturing technologies across Boeing commercial, space and defense businesses, managing teams working in metals, ceramics, composites fabrication, assembly and automation. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and both an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
