As CTO at Farmer's Business Network, I've scaled and led teams of up to 90 engineers, data scientists, and product managers building the world's largest e-commerce marketplace and fintech platform for farmers. We've shipped AI-powered tools like Norm (fbn.com/norm), our agricultural advisor named after my hero Dr. Norman Borlaug. My path here wasn't traditional: I started as an Agricultural Economist in Mexico, co-founded a sustainable seafood traceability startup (featured on CNN), and held product leadership roles at The Climate Corporation where I helped build FieldView into the dominant IoT and AI platform for farm analytics - through Monsanto's $63B acquisition by Bayer.
