20 years as a hands-on software engineer and technology/product leader. I am equally adept at strategy as well as getting in the weeds. I am most comfortable with one sleeve rolled up and one sleeve rolled down. Proven expertise in Executive-level communication, high-profile project/product/program leadership, and hands-on coding alike. Most notably, I have led three successful venture-funded startups, as well as The College Board as CTO. I was previously appointed by President Obama to be an Innovation Fellow to the White House where I developed and managed new technology products for him and the CTO to the US (Megan Smith). I have also taught various related courses at Georgetown University as an Adjunct and written professionally for numerous national publications as an expert. I attended Harvard undergrad and have Master’s/Advance Degrees from Stanford and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. I am seeking remote opportunities (FTE or Contract).
