Kals Subramanian joined CarParts.com in April of 2022 as Chief Technology Officer and brings over 24 years of experience in retail technology with a specialized focus on eCommerce, order management, marketing, retail pharmacy and credit card domains. Prior to joining CarParts.com, Kals served as Vice President of eCommerce Technology at Lowe’s. Before stepping into a VP role, he was Senior Director of Product Management, where he delivered significant reductions in customer call volumes and cancellations due to a strong emphasis on successful collaboration with cross-functional teams. With a focus on engineering, managing product, and building global teams, Kals has seen double-digit growth in initiatives under his leadership – ranging from service and sales growth to employee engagement. Leading to his tenure at Lowe’s, Kals had a longstanding career at numerous reputable organizations like Best Buy and Target Corporation, where he held various leadership positions. His experience spans everything from technology, eCommerce and business intelligence to guest experience, healthcare development, accounts receivable conversion and financial services. Kals began his career in 1997 as a systems engineer and has B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bharathidasan University, India.
