About James Miller

James Miller is CTO Intelligent Infrastructure at DXC Technology. Location: Dearborn, Michigan, United States.

My current role is CTO Intelligent Infrastructure at DXC Technology, developing offerings for public and private cloud, infrastructure hosting, mainframe, storage, networking, and migration/transformation to cloud. I work closely with customers on technologies defining today and shaping tomorrow. Designing and developing solutions for global enterprises and public sector organizations — helping them harness AI to drive outcomes. Experience comes from many years in the designing, building and running of large IT environments on behalf of clients globally. I have been the account CTO for a global auto manufacturer, a healthcare services provider, and a major North America bank. My career experiences include travel to multiple countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Australia. I have had the privilege to speak at multiple technical and industry conferences as well as a an appearance on an automotive industry technology panel on public television. I was a Fellow at Hewlett Packard where I represented multiple industry groups and interfaced with HP Labs in the development of new technologies. I have loved automobiles, motorcycles, and racing since childhood. My wife and I live just outside of Detroit Michigan, where I attend many auto industry events. I have attended many races including the Indianapolis 500, Formula 1, and was a VIP guest of NASCAR at the Texas Motor Speedway and at the Charlotte Motor Speedway when they were one of my key clients. Occasionally I ride my Ducati motorcycle to enjoy the open road. I have two grown sons, play golf, and I am a significant fan of University of Michigan sports, Go Blue! I am on the Alumni Advisory Board for the University of Michigan, and involved in a number of fund raising activities and also do a lot of work in coaching and mentoring there.
