Jose Valls is the CTO of Manufacturing at Microsoft Corporation. As part of the Industry leadership, he’s responsible for driving the global industry through his leadership and expertise in manufacturing. As a leader in “building minds” for Microsoft. And having a hand in shaping the hybrid and cloud adoption, using Industry priority scenarios, and activating our Ecosystem of partners to drive the industry expertise at scale. ​Jose is driven to push Microsft and his team forward with cutting-edge systems. Previously Jose started as Process Engineer and Process Automation, he has 34 years of experience in executive positions in Advance Process Control, Automation Control Solutions, and Process manufacturing. Having played a key role to lead transformation, innovation, and disruption in the market, mega-complex engagement, business Platforms, Technology, and Strategy Groups.​ He has a strong international background having served in executive leadership roles in Europe, South Asia, Latin America, and the USA.​ Jose joined Microsoft in 2014, based in Redmond, Washington State.
