Currently, Joel leads the Products and Engineering organizations at Kinnser Software, a leading provider of software solutions for post-acute care. Joel and his team deliver the smartest most widely-used solutions for home-health, private duty, home care, therapy and hospice. Previously, Joel was the CTO/CIO for SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI) where he brought his deep and broad experience in setting technology and technical strategies for both products and platform infrastructure projects. Joel was also a key partner in defining the product strategy for the company both from an organic development and an M&A standpoint. Joel has been an integral part of the strategy and execution for more than 15 acquisitions. Joel has built his experience while developing software using a variety of development models and managing teams distributed globally, for projects ranging from internal infrastructure back-office initiatives to multi-million dollar products.
