I'm a CTO who still writes code and does technical work. Over the past 20+ years I’ve built and run technology organizations at scale across TMT and Fintech, including leadership roles at Deloitte, T-Mobile, and now Xome. My work has spanned multi-billion dollar platform transformations, regulated environments, M&A integrations, and globally distributed engineering teams. Most recently, I have built and launched production AI platforms: real agentic systems handling real workflows. We're in the middle of a technology revolution. This is an exciting time to be alive and I'm learning / iterating on AI every day. What I care about: staying close to the technology, learning as much as I can, and building awesome engineering organizations that ship great software in complicated environments without losing velocity. Translating between the boardroom and the keyboard, in both directions. My background spans software engineering, enterprise architecture, product management, digital, cyber security, infrastructure, and data platforms. Experienced running large IT portfolios, navigating M&A, commercializing new products, and scaling teams through transformation. Comfortable with the unglamorous parts: billing systems, ERP, customer management platforms, regulatory reporting, the things that keep companies running.
