About Arthur Ianuzzi

Arthur Ianuzzi is Chief Technology Officer at Hackers Guild. Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.

Pittsburgh has real technical talent. It just needs better pathways. That's what Hackers Guild PGH is built around: a hands-on cybersecurity and technology education community where motivated people develop real skills, gain confidence, and change their trajectory. People build things, work alongside others, and leave more capable than when they arrived. My background is in math and physics, with hands-on experience across machine learning, embedded systems, R&D, prototyping, and infrastructure. I've spent most of my career building real systems, from low-level hardware to cloud platforms, with a focus on understanding how things actually work. That's the same standard I hold the Guild to. I'm drawn to learning environments that prioritize exploration, intrinsic motivation, and direct engagement with problems rather than structure and output. Most education optimizes for the wrong things. I'm interested in building something that optimizes for understanding, capability, and independence, and doing it in Western PA, where that kind of technical foundation matters. I stay active across AI/ML, embedded development, networking, and infrastructure. Especially interested in how these areas connect, both architecturally and as teachable systems. If you're working on something interesting in cybersecurity, AI, or technical education, or you care about where Pittsburgh's technical workforce is headed, I'm always up for a conversation.
