I graduated with a PhD in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University and was a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Protein Design with David Baker. Thanks to an amazing group of colleagues and collaborators, my peer-reviewed research has been published in venues such as Science, Nature, and ICML, and covered by the Economist, the Guardian, and others. I spent nearly a decade at Facebook, where I built several teams, technologies and products at the intersection of AI/ML and product.
