I love building highly effective engineering orgs. I have over 20 years of engineering leadership experience in startup, growth stage, and publicly traded technology companies. Before coming to Ontra, I served as the VP of Engineering at AppFolio, where I spent 10 years leading engineering in the company’s most significant efforts, including mobile, embedded payments, and AI. While at AppFolio, I also led the development of a platform for private equity real estate sponsors to manage their businesses. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo. Based in Santa Barbara, I’m an avid cyclist and skier, and you can often find me mountain biking. I love spending time in nature with my wife and daughters. I serve on the board of Providence School, and previously served on the board of Sage Trail Alliance.
