Charlie Greenbacker is CTO of goTenna, a defense tech startup enabling off-grid data communications for any device. He was previously Head of Federal at Snorkel AI, where he was responsible for the entire public sector business. Before that, Charlie was SVP of Enterprise Technologies at In-Q-Tel, leading investments spanning AI, analytics, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity, advancing the national security missions of several U.S. Government agencies. Earlier in his career, he served as a communications officer in the U.S. Air Force and held multiple technical roles supporting the CIA, DIA, DARPA, and other elements of the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Charlie earned an MS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and studied at the University of Oxford as an undergraduate.
