I enjoy leading and advising data science and machine learning teams, in both industry and academia. I have deep expertise in Patient risks prediction from Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Helping manage many thousands of LTPAC patient lives every day (saiva.ai) Monogenic disease diagnosis and reanalysis from DNA and EMR data, First web portal for diagnosis & reanalysis (amelie.stanford.edu) Functional genomics and the non-coding human genome, Very popular portal for non-coding genomic data analysis (great.stanford.edu) Human comparative genomic, Discoverer of genomic ultraconservation (PMID: 15131266). A Nobel award awaits those who will explain it :) I've been privy to a great education: In Machine Learning (with Tali Tishby), in Genomics (with David Haussler), and later on with my own Stanford lab of up to 20 people. Finally, I am grateful for multiple awards including best paper awards, tomorrow's principal investigator award, Mallinckrodt, Sloan, Human Frontiers, Searle, Okawa, David and Lucile Packard, Microsoft and Sony Scholar awards. I look forward to collaborations opportunities, especially in long term post acute (LTPAC) patient management.
