Gabriel Terejanu, PhD is Founder & CTO at fdbk.ai. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.

I build AI systems for decisions where being wrong is expensive. I am a Professor of Computer Science and Director of the M.S. in Artificial Intelligence at UNC Charlotte, with research in Causal AI, Invariant Machine Learning, Bayesian Inference, and Uncertainty Quantification. I am also the founder of fdbk.ai, a pre-flight ad analytics platform that helps agencies and brands test ads against AI audiences before spending media budget. The goal is to help teams understand audience reactions, creative risks, and message-market fit before campaigns go live. fdbk.ai is an NVIDIA Inception company. My work sits at the intersection of research, product, and business strategy. I have led funded AI projects with support from NSF, ARO, and USDA, and partnered with organizations including Toyota Racing Development, Lowe’s, LendingTree, Atrium Health, and Beyond Meat. I am open to conversations around causal AI, synthetic audiences, AI strategy, and university–industry partnerships.
