About Chaim Fried

Chaim Fried is Chief Technology Officer at Morgan & Morgan, P.A. Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States.

I build technology that changes how people work — at the scale of hyperscale consumer platforms, scrappy startups, and now the largest personal injury law firm in America. As CTO of Morgan & Morgan, I'm leading the AI transformation of a $2B+ organization with 1,000+ attorneys across all 50 states. My team has built an end-to-end AI pipeline that processes millions of legal documents, automated hundreds of operational roles using NLP and LLMs, and deployed MX2.law — our proprietary platform for legal research, document automation, and case analysis. We've cut case readiness time by 30+ days, automated 70% of legal response workflows, and built the infrastructure to pursue justice at unprecedented scale. Before Morgan & Morgan, I founded OWAL.io — an AI video SaaS company serving eldercare facilities and hospital systems. Prior to that, I spent eight years at Google, where I built the internal collaboration tools used by tens of thousands of employees, launched Chromebox for Meetings (what became Google Meet's hardware platform), and delivered Google's first live video streaming solution. At Microsoft, I led the product team that shipped Skype's SMB conferencing solution. What drives me is the intersection of hard technical problems and real human impact — whether that's a nursing home resident who's safer because of a computer vision alert, an attorney who can focus on their client instead of paperwork, or an engineer who ships something they're genuinely proud of. I'm always interested in connecting with people working on AI, legal tech, infrastructure, and product at scale.
