As CTO of CoStarGroup, I have the pleasure of managing the software development teams that are responsible for all web applications, mobile products, and internal systems as well as the technology teams that are responsible for corporate IT and datacenter operations. At CoStar we are passionate about building talented, highly motivated engineering teams that accomplish extraordinary things. In my career thus far, I've been fortunate to have contributed to a number of talented development teams, I have had the opportunity to lead some great teams, and now have the incredible opportunity to manage a group of 350 technologists that have produced truly amazing software. The responsibility for managing the teams at CoStar, LoopNet, Apartments.com and ApartmentFinder.com is exciting, inspiring and fulfilling. Our teams have developed high volume web sites and mobile applications that are industry leaders in revenue, traffic and unique visitors. Our data centers, development facilities and communication networks are second to none. In addition to product development, our teams have delivered world class ecommerce, billing and fulfillment systems that have processed billions of dollars of transactions. Systems integration is important to companies with a healthy appetite for acquisition and our teams in the US and Europe have completed several large scale integrations with minimal customer impact.
