CTO and co-founder of ImmunoVec and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, with deep expertise in immunology, bioinformatics, and hands-on AI/ML development. My work spans T cell, macrophage, and stem cell biology, with a focus on autoimmune, infectious, and cancer immunology. I develop and lead bioinformatics and machine-learning efforts for large-scale genomics and single cell studies, including scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics, single cell multiomics, and epigenetics. I actively build and deploy sequence-to-function genomic models and in-house predictive and generative frameworks that support immune cell engineering, gene and cell therapy, and therapeutic discovery. I provide scientific and technical leadership across academic and industry settings, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, 5,000+ citations, and collaborations spanning more than 30 research groups. My work emphasizes data-driven decision making, end-to-end technology integration, and computational–experimental alignment, while mentoring trainees and contributing to research, clinical, and translational programs at the intersection of genomics, machine learning, and immune cell engineering.
