I’m the CTO at Jitsu, where we build technology for last-mile delivery. I care about making complex operational systems simple to use and resilient in the real world. I first learned that at Shipwire, the e-commerce fulfillment platform I co-founded. Shipwire taught me that strong logistics software has to absorb the unpredictability of people and physical operations. Simplicity and robustness have guided how I build ever since. Jitsu's system uses what we learn from past operations to form an informed view of what is likely to happen next. As conditions change, the system adjusts the plan. I work with many smart, creative operators at Jitsu. We build tools that let the people closest to a problem turn their best thinking directly into working solutions. All while keeping things simple and robust.
