Lately I've been writing about my lived experience navigating the AI transition — what it's actually doing to the people who build software for a living, how we measure work differently now, and where the real constraints have moved. The shift I keep coming back to isn't about which AI tools you use. It's about whether you can tell when the AI is wrong — and why. Specification clarity. Trade-off reasoning. Judgment that doesn't show up in a polished résumé. Gandhi said to learn as if you'll live forever. I try to take that seriously, which means I'm still looking for the edges of what I think I know.
