About Darren Peterson
Darren Peterson is Chief Technology Officer at Blue Link Wireless. Location: Irvine, California, United States.
I solve complex technology and operational problems—especially the ones that do not fit neatly inside a single department. Over 30+ years, I have worked across technology leadership, consulting, infrastructure, data, security, automation, supply chain, and business operations. That range is not the product of collecting titles. It comes from taking ownership of real businesses and learning how their systems, people, processes, vendors, and economics work together. Earlier in my career, I built and ran an MSP serving organizations across restaurants, education, real estate, financial services, retail, distribution, and other industries. To support those clients well, I learned their businesses as seriously as I learned their technology. That experience developed the pattern recognition I rely on today: the ability to absorb a complex environment quickly, connect issues across disciplines, and translate ambiguity into a practical plan. At Blue Link Wireless, I lead technology for one of the country’s largest AT&T authorized retailers. My scope includes enterprise platforms and APIs, SQL Server data warehousing, Power BI, automation, security, cloud infrastructure, collaboration, retail operations, and the practical application of AI. The objective is straightforward: reliable systems, trustworthy information, faster execution, and measurable business value. Through shawLOGIX, I help small and mid-sized businesses apply AI and modern IT where they can materially improve the business. That may mean identifying the right AI opportunities, automating a labor-intensive workflow, integrating disconnected systems, strengthening infrastructure and security, or turning an operational problem into an executable technical roadmap. My technical range includes AI strategy and guardrails; SQL Server, data warehousing, Power BI, ETL, and governance; APIs, middleware, ERP, WMS, EDI, and CRM; Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, cloud and hybrid infrastructure; and network security, endpoints, compliance, and resilience. I am comfortable in both the server room and the boardroom, and I remain hands-on by choice. I can assess the business problem, design the architecture, work through implementation details, communicate with executives and operators, and remain accountable for the outcome. I am not pursuing a title for its own sake. I am interested in difficult, high-value challenges where broad technical judgment, direct execution, and measurable results matter more than a narrow job description.
